Things have been hectic--Auxiliary meeting (had to get financial books up-to-date!), trimming flowers in the garden, stacking wood after DH sawed and split it, taking some day trips to enjoy our surroundings, etc.  We celebrated our anniversary and birthdays by taking a trip to Yellowstone and staying at Old Faithful Inn.  What a historic old building!  It's sad to see the old wood floors topped with engineered flooring--but such are the efforts of preservation.  We watched Old Faithful erupt, walked around the geyser basin, ate in the dining room--and only saw 4 buffalo!  That was only 2 more animals than we saw at home before starting on our journey--we had the doe and her young one trimming our bushes and trees at home!

The only stash reduction was 5 yards for a backing for a pieced top.
