STASH REPORT - Week 23, 2012

Used this Week: 0 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards

Used year to Date: 112 1/2 yards
Added Year to Date: 52 2/3 yards

Net Stash Decrease for 2012:  59 3/4 yards
Can I report on yard work instead of stash this week?!  For the second week in a row I have nothing to report--I'd better get this trend reversed during the coming week!  I did spend time planting, repotting, cleaning decks, freezing rhubarb, etc.  We just added a small greenhouse in a small clearing on one side of our home, and are going to see whether we can be successful in raising a few vegetables and herbs on the mountain.

  1. Some weeks that's just the way it goes. My black thumb pretty much keeps me out of the yard (My Guy gets nervous if I try to help).

    1. Well, I think this will be my husband's project--except for the herbs. I've already sent the parsley & thyme to plant heaven--and my petunias don't look so good!!

  2. My numbers went backwards this week. However it's a new week. How excitiing - a greenhouse! It's too arid here for a garden. It's cheaper to go to the farmer's market.

    1. I wish we lived near a good farmer's market--sigh! I am hoping this works well for us as our growing season is so short here.

  3. You may not have the best garden where you are, but your scenery is spectacular. I still remember my trip to the Tetons and there is nothing more beautiful. Hope the greenhouse works for you. I've always wanted one, but haven't gotten it yet.

  4. Yes, we are blessed! It was such a beautiful day--sat on the patio glider and watched the butterflies.
