I finished 2 small quilts on the longarm--one of mine (Dick & Jane quilt), and one for a friend. I think I have 95 quilts left to be quilted--but probably have missed writing down one or two.
And I finished piecing the redwork boy MOY quilt--boy, did that take forever! I couldn't make up my mind on the setting and didn't have any of the fabric used for the embroidery. Red is not my favorite color but I do like it--different than what I usually make. I thought I would be able to make the redwork girl MOY quilt with the same fabric choices, but that's not going to happen as there isn't enough left. So I plan to use another red for the girl quilt; I'm not sure if I want to use the same setting or not. With all my indecision, this quilt took a long time to finish! I still need to make the backing and binding.

Well, I tried for a week and a half, but I couldn't resist--I bought another WHY panel! Again, I will make it into a baby quilt instead of a book. I have enough brown marble fabric for the borders; I'm not sure if I have enough of the blue fabric that I used on my grandson's quilt to use on this one--hope I do as it was perfect. I did work on my redwork quilts (one boy BOM and one girl BOM), but nothing is finished. I almost have the alternate blocks for the boy quilt completed. Hopefully I can finish it in the upcoming week. I don't think I have enough of the red background fabric to do the girl quilt in the same fabric. I will see if that fabric is still available, and, if it isn't, I'll have to use a different red for the background--stash reality!

This week's reduction in stash was comprised of the backing and binding for a QOV. The top was pieced and in my Longarm UFO stack (yea, another reduction in that stack!), so it was finished quickly by doing a simple meander.
Nothing else done. I worked in the yard and cleaned 2 of the decks. We had rain early in the week and the yard is looking good. I love the promise of spring with all the leaves starting to come out and my early bulbs blooming!
