STASH REPORT - WEEK 26-27, 2015 (7/4/15)

Used this Period: 10.53 yards
Added this Period: 0 yards

Used year to Date: 116.89 yards
Added Year to Date: 26.75 yards

Net Stash Decrease for 2015:  90.14 yards

I finished the second Henry Glass "Why" baby quilt, using 9 yards, 10 inches.  The binding is not made.  I also used 1.25 yards making a set of machine embroidered shoes for a friend.  I made 13 + 1--the "1" was a mistake since I did the same shoe twice!  Guess it really is one of my favorites!

We are getting back to normal after traveling out of town for our grandson's baptism.  It was a nice trip and good family time.

Today I spent cleaning my quilting studio--it really needed a good cleaning!  I think most things are put away, organized, rearranged.  Now we'll see if I can find anything the next time I'm working in my room!!

  1. Great numbers on decreasing your stash. Have you shown a picture of the machine embroidered shoes on your blog? They sound interesting.

    1. I've made 3 quilts using the machine embroidered shoes of Sally King (http://www.bfc-creations.com/Designs/000menus/SallyKing.shtml)--backgrounds of pink, aqua, and green--each in different settings. Pictures are shown on Weeks 9, 12, and 14:

When she releases the designs for the 2nd half of 2015, I will make another quilt on a yellow background. I love the detail on the shoes--reminds me of the movie "P.S. I Love You." You really have to look at each design closely to see everything in it! I also have her cupcake designs, but haven't embroidered them yet.
